UTRWD Water Talk: Tree Care and Planting

Are your trees already dropping leaves and limbs? Are you worried about the health of your trees with this summer’s extreme temperatures and lack of rain? Do you want to plant a new tree in your yard but not sure which species to select or how to plant?


Join Upper Trinity Regional Water District and the Texas A&M Forest Service on October 4th at 1 pm to learn how to care for your trees all year long and how to identify drought stress.


Topics include:

- How to care for your trees during droughts

- Disease and invasive pests concerns

- Selecting and planting the best trees

- Proper pruning techniques
