September Board Meeting Recap
Below is a recap of the meeting from MON. SEP. 23.
- Board approved a new tax rate of 0.9284, which is down from last years rate of 0.9482.
- Board approved the budget for FY 2025 which can be found on our website, and also by clicking HERE.
- The Board approved the advertisement for the sale of the District’s Series 2024A
Unlimited Tax Road Bonds to be held on October 28, 2024. - The board directed the GM to solicit warrant studies, at the advice of the Lee
Engineering study conducted over the summer, for the following changes:
~ A four-way stop at Cypress Creek/Light Farms Way, Lightcreek Ln/Forefront,
Laughlin Ln and Starlight Creek.
~ Speed limit study along Light Farms Way.
~ The board will consider action on each of these studies in our next meeting. - GM stated that the two new crosswalk light fixtures at Cypress Creek/Meridian and Light
Farms Way/Homestead will be installed in December/January. Striping will be done over
Thanksgiving break.
~ Safety committee will work with GM to prioritize other crosswalks for board
consideration. - Board approved mulch for the rest of the neighborhoods common areas, which is now
complete. - Board approved lowering of the Cypress well to increase water output, which is now
complete.
The next meeting will be on MON. OCT. 28 at 6 PM in the HOA office.
